Career Specialties

Gabriel Paez served as a police officer for the New York City Police Department for 13 years and served as a research/crime analyst as well as other field assignments. His research interests include adolescent bullying, school violence and the utilization of police in schools.

Professional and Community Activities

Most of his work more broadly centers on juvenile offending and victimization. His current projects aim to contribute to the development of comprehensive prevention strategies designedto minimize juvenile offending while simultaneously protectingyouth
