Career Specialties

Tiffany Nelson is leads innovative campus-wide wellness initiatives that promote student resilience, mental health and holistic well-being. She oversees the Peer Wellness Coaching program, training and supervising student coaches as certified Health and Wellness Coaches, and developed the University’s Resilience Reset workshops, which have reached hundreds of students through academic courses and co-curricular integration. She also facilitates Mental Health First Aid trainings for staff and faculty and co-leads federal grant reporting and assessment efforts to strengthen campus wellness infrastructure.

Professional and Community Activities

Nelson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, a certified Real Balance Wellness Mapping 360° Trainer, and a Mental Health First Aid Higher Education Instructor. She co-chairs the QEP Programs subcommittee and serves on the Community of Care Alliance committee.
