Dr. Myers' research focuses on judicial politics, federalism, and political behavior in the United States, Australia, Canada, the European Union, and Ghana. His teaching is centered in American and comparative politics with emphasis on judicial politics, constitutional law, and policy.

Professional and Community Activities

His research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed outlets including The Journal of Politics, The American Review of Public Administration, Publius: The Journal of Federalism, Political Behavior, and many others.Dr. Myers is the former Chair of both the Institutional Review Board and the Faculty Grants Committee. He currently serves as the Book Review Co-Editor for Publius:The Journal of Federalism and as a board member of the American Constitution Society Tampa Lawyer Chapter
