Professional and Community Activities

Zach McDowell is a member of the Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) and the Florida Association of Higher Education and Disability (FL-AHEAD). In graduate school, McDowell's research focused on faculty perceptions of students with mental health concerns, disability identity, disability disclosure and disability compliance. McDowell has presented at the AHEAD national conference, the Illinois AHEAD conference, and has completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Management Development Program.
