Career Specialties

James Lee specializes in marketing research in the areas of customer focus and services including nonprofits.

Professional and Community Activities

Lee is involved in many local and national organizations, including having served as a director for a public corporation, and as a board member and advisor for several charitable organizations.

In addition to teaching college courses for more than 20 years, his experiences include being responsible for marketing and IT for an international retailer, serving as corporate officer, including president, for several corporations, and as a consultant for political campaigns and corporations. He has been recognized for his research including the Walker Award for his article in People and Strategy and as the Researcher of the Year for the John H. Sykes College of Business. His research has appeared in The Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychology and Marketing, the Journal of Business and Psychology, and Services Marketing Quarterly. Lee has also been awarded the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award for the Sykes College of Business.
