Career Specialties

Jennifer Polizzi is passionate about empowering first-year students to be successful academically at UT. She also wants to help guide them on their Spartan journey to becoming well-rounded students, ready to pick a path within their major and prepare them to be successful in their field of study.

Professional and Community Activities

Polizzi’s master’s thesis focused on comparative anatomy of the vasculature of the intestine of different fishes by examining casts of the vasculature of this organ using electron microscopy to determine evolutionary relationships. Her interest continued in this field of comparative anatomy of fishes through SEM analyses and vascular corrosion casting.
