Career Specialties

Kemper's area of specialty is clinical care, including emergency care and preparation amongst others. Her areas of research include understanding how to improve athletic training education programs as they undergo changes and improvements. 

Professional and Community Activities

Kemper's area of research in athletic training education has led to publications in the Athletic Training Education Journal. Her contributions to athletic training and sports medicine journals continue as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation after she served as an editorial assistant for five years. Kemper is also a current member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Athletic Training Association of Florida and the Southeast Athletic Training Association. 

Kemper also serves as an American Red Cross instructor for Emergency Medical Response, First Aid/CPR/AED, and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers. Additionally, Kemper continues clinically practicing in the Tampa Bay Area, providing healthcare and emergency management/triage to a variety of athletic events.
