Career Specialties

Her area of academic interest focuses on medical/surgical care for adults and older adults, with an emphasis on managing complex conditions. With over 20 years of experience as a critical care nurse, she is dedicated to mentoring nursing students in these specialized areas.

Professional and Community Activities

As a board member of the Christine Ortoll Charity, she is dedicated to supporting their mission of creating educational media about mental health and substance use disorders, empowering individuals to find support and move forward with hope, ultimately transforming their lives towards recovery and thriving. Additionally, she is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), which focuses on advancing critical care nursing and improving patient outcomes.
