Career Specialties

Katie Cooper specializes in the sociological areas of culture, media, social movements, dating and romantic relationships, and humor.

Professional and Community Activities

Cooper's research has been published in academic journals including The Communication Review and Sociological Focus, as well as other outlets. In addition to teaching and research, Cooper also serves as the sociology department's internship coordinator.
