Tyler Carlson is a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Tampa. His archival research explores how audits impact firm, governmental, and societal outcomes, and he also conducts educational research to enhance his teaching and provide hands-on learning opportunities. He has served the academic community through his involvement in various institutional committees and by volunteering as a reviewer and discussant at academic conferences. Before his career in academia, Tyler worked in both public and governmental accounting, which provides valuable context for his current research and teaching.
