Maj. Marcia C. Simon currently serves as the director of force management for the 108th Training Command (IET) in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands and grew up in Antigua, bringing a diverse Caribbean background to her military service. Simon graduated from the University of Tampa in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and was commissioned into the United States Army Reserve through ROTC that same year.
Over the course of her career, she has served in a wide range of leadership and staff positions, including director of force management, systems integrator, plans officer and company commander. Her operational experience includes deployment assignments in Bagram, Afghanistan, where she served as an assistant theater operations officer and Battalion S2. Simon has also completed numerous military courses, including the Functional Area 50 Qualification Course, How the Army Runs and the Logistics Captain Career Course. Her performance and dedication have earned her several military awards, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and multiple Army Commendation and Achievement Medals. With a strong foundation in force management, logistics and leadership, Simon continues to make significant contributions to the United States Army Reserve.
