For the 2024 Fall Weekend, the University is partnering with the following hotels to give a special rate to our UTampa families for the weekend:

Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown

Reservations can be made online. When using the online reservation link, enter your arrival and departure dates and click "check availability" to view the special rate. The "Corporate/Group Code" section under "Special Rates" page will auto-populate with code G-EXNU. If guests have questions or need help with this booking, please contact the Hyatt Place Sales Department at 813-424-3135 and ask for Jamie Brichner, Sales Manager.

The rate includes spacious suite-style rooms with a pullout sofa bed and amenities including complimentary hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, outdoor heated pool and terrace. A parking garage is available at $30 per night via valet parking. Reservations must be made by Thursday, Sept. 19.

Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District

Reservations can be made online here. The rate is available for multiple room types and amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, WiFi, outdoor pool, fitness center and business center. Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly. Self-parking is available at $30 per night.

Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Reservations can be made online here. The rate is available for multiple room types, and amenities include WiFi, outdoor pool and terrace and fitness center. Valet parking is available at $40 per night.

Residence Inn Tampa Downtown

Reservations can be made online here. The rate is available for multiple room types, and amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, WiFi, outdoor pool and fitness center. Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly. Self-parking is available at $25 per night.

Directions to UT

From the North:

I-75 South to I-275 South to Exit 45A. Follow signs for Downtown West/Ashley Street. Take Ashley Dr. south to Kennedy Blvd. Turn right on Kennedy Blvd., crossing the Hillsborough River. Turn right at the first light at the main entrance of the University.

From the East:

I-4 West to I-275 South to Exit 45A. Follow signs for Downtown West/Ashley Street. Take Ashley Dr. south to Kennedy Blvd. Turn right on Kennedy Blvd., crossing the Hillsborough River. Turn right at the first light at the main entrance of the University.

From the South:

I-75 North to Exit 256 (Crosstown Expressway). Crosstown Expressway to "Tampa General Hospital-Davis Islands" exit (right after crossing the Hillsborough River). Turn right on Plant Ave., go to the dead end at Kennedy Blvd. Turn left on Kennedy Blvd. Turn right at the first light at the main entrance of the University.

From the West:

I-275 North to Exit 44 (Downtown West). Ashley Dr. south to Kennedy Blvd. Turn right on Kennedy Blvd., crossing the Hillsborough River. Turn right at the first light at the main entrance of the University.

From Tampa International Airport:

Florida 60 East to I-275 North (Downtown) to Exit 44 (Downtown West). Ashley Dr. south to Kennedy Blvd. Turn right on Kennedy Blvd., crossing the Hillsborough River. Turn right at the first light at the main entrance of the University. The University of Tampa is 8 miles from Tampa International Airport.
