University of Tampa's Peace, Justice, and Conflict Resolution Minor is an interdisciplinary program that is designed to help students engage in critical analysis of peace studies, social justice and conflict management. Students will be able to explore various approaches to social change and peacebuilding.

Studying various theories of peace allows students to explore consensus-making and community building while learning about the sources of violence or unrest. Justice is explored through courses on normative social and political theories and learning how to build relationships in communities to enact meaningful change.

Through an interdisciplinary approach, students explore mediation, negotiation, restorative justice, human rights and conflict resolution—skills applicable to careers in law, public policy, social services, international relations and beyond.
