UT's Graduate Programs in Business and Nursing Ranked Among the Best by TFE Times

The University of Tampa’s master’s degrees in business administration (MBA), marketing, accounting and finance, as well as UT’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) have been named as best programs by TFE Times.

At UT’S Sykes College of Business, graduate students can pursue an MBA, as well as Master of Science degrees in accounting, business analytics, information and technology management, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and cybersecurity.

The University of Tampa’s master’s degrees in business administration (MBA), marketing, accounting and finance, as well as UT’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) have been named as best programs by TFE Times.
UT’s rankings include:
  • 119th out of 239 participating schools for MBA programs
  • 25th out of 46 participating schools for M.S.-Marketing programs
  • 82nd out of 189 participating schools for M.S.-Accounting programs
  • 51st out of 91 participating schools for M.S.-Finance programs
  • 154th out of 190 participating schools for M.S.-Nursing programs
TFE Times, an online site focused on business, technology and culture, tallied its rankings based on institutional data including GMAT scores; graduate starting salaries and bonuses; undergraduate GPAs; acceptance rates; full-time graduates employed at graduation; and full-time graduates employed three months after graduation.
At UT’S Sykes College of Business, graduate students can pursue an MBA, as well as Master of Science degrees in accounting, business analytics, information and technology management, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and cybersecurity. There are joint M.S./MBA degrees, as well as part-time, full-time and executive MBA schedules, and an Executive Doctor of Business Administration degree.
The Sykes College of Business, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), offers state-of-the-art resources such as the Huizenga Family Foundation Trading Center, the Center for Ethics, TECO Energy Center for Leadership,
Naimoli Institute for Business Strategy, the John P. Lowth Entrepreneurship Center and the Institute for Sales Excellence.
UT's Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) prepares advanced practice nurses for roles such as primary care providers and clinical leaders. The program emphasizes the importance of holistic assessment, cultural congruency and patient inclusion and collaboration in health care.
UT's Department of Nursing, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, is housed on two floors of UT’s Jenkins Health and Technology Building, opened in 2018. The department’s simulation laboratory, featuring more than a dozen realistic medical manikins, allows nursing skills to be taught and practiced in a safe, risk-free environment.
