UT March 27–30 Performance Described as “Cult Classic Musical Comedy”

Six Women With Brain Death (or Expiring Minds Want To Know)

University of Tampa student actors will explore TV soap operas, “genuine press-on nails,” Barbie and Ken’s secret fantasy life, divas, a unique and new way of recycling, and what “is” and “is not” feminine in a theatrical performance of Six Women With Brain Death (or Expiring Minds Want To Know).

This “cult classic musical comedy” consists of a series of hysterical songs and sketches that offer, according to Karla Hartley, director of the show, a “fast-paced, satiric look at life and pop culture from an entirely feminine standpoint that is sure to keep you laughing long after the show is over.”

One of those sketches includes an unforgettable detour through a forest where Bambi meets Rambo.

Performances will be held in Falk Theatre on Thursday, March 27; Friday, March 28; and Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m. A matinee will be performed on Sunday, March 30, at 2 p.m. The Falk Theatre is located at 428 W. Kennedy Blvd.

General admission tickets cost $15. Senior citizen and non-UT student tickets cost $10, and admission for UT students, faculty and staff is free with ID.
