Through her research, she aims to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions that benefit both teachers and the education system as a whole.

Professional and Community Activities

In an ongoing publication under review, Schock's current research investigates the influence of consistent supervisory practices on the preparedness of preservice educators within the framework of school-university partnerships. Additionally, with Yvonne Franco, she recently published a peer-reviewed book chapter expounding upon the transformative capacity inherent in collaborative efforts for addressing educational issues within the context of clinically based teacher education. As chairman of the board for schools for Haiti and a dedicated board member for Better Together, an organization focused on preventing child abuse and neglect, Schock actively engages in community work, striving to make a positive impact in education and child welfare.
