Career Specialties

Saeidi specializes in experimental condensed matter physics, with research focused on graphene, two-dimensional materials, magnetism in thin films, and materials for electronic and optical devices.

Professional and Community Activities

Saeidi’s research spans two-dimensional materials, magnetic phenomena, and materials science applications. Her doctoral dissertation at the University of Florida examined doping graphene with manganese-based single molecule magnets to study their electronic properties. She has conducted research on thin-film growth, magnetism in transition metal dichalcogenides, and novel materials for optical sensing technologies.
