Career Specialties

Marissa Russo has experience in working in career development with undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni in all phases of career transition. In her current role at UT, she serves as a career coach with seniors and undergraduate alumni, manages the student peer educator (Career Ambassador) team, and focuses on career readiness educational programming across campus.

Prior to her role in Career Services, Russo worked with major exploration within Advising at UT. Additionally, she has experience working within orientation and family programs at other higher education institutions.

Professional and Community Activities

Russo is a member of the Strategic Planning and Assessment Committee within the division of Student Affairs at The University of Tampa. She is a member of the Colleges of Central Florida Career Consortium, Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, and Florida Association of Colleges and Employers. Additionally, she is a member of the Tampa Bay Chamber Emerging Leaders program.
