Michael Robinson has 18 years industry experience in operations finance and general management, and has expertise in management accounting, managerial finance and financial statement analysis.

Professional and Community Activities

Robinson is an active member of the American Accounting Association (AAA) including section membership in financial accounting research, management accounting, accounting organization and behavior, and the diversity. He serves the accounting academic community as an ad hoc reviewer for Auditing, Journal of Practice and Theory, Advances in Accounting, and for the American Accounting Association. His research interests are management control systems, strategic cost management and value-based management, and corporate governance and the quality of financial reporting.
