Principles of Marketing
Adam Merkle's teaching interests include marketing research and business analytics.
Merkle's research focuses on sales ethics subcultures and various methodological topics. Research findings have been presented at national conferences including the Academy of Marketing Science, the American Marketing Association, and the Society for Marketing Advances and subsequently published in outlets such as the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, the Journal of Marketing Analytics, Marketing Education Review and the Journal of Marketing Education.
Prior to academia, his career in the private sector spanned nearly 20 years. During that time, Merkle worked primarily in general management and marketing. He also held various functional positions in buyer-seller relationships, including work as a purchasing agent and in sales.
