Career Specialties
Ana Maia is a scholar-practitioner dedicated to student leadership development. Her research and professional development are focused on culturally relevant leadership learning and student leadership development for positive social change. She serves as the chair for the Student Affairs Strategic Planning and Assessment Team and oversees the President's Leadership Fellows.
Professional and Community Activities
Maia is an active member in ACPA–College Student Educators International serving as the leadership education chair in the Commission for Student Involvement. She serves as Adjunct Faculty in the College of Business teaching in the Leadership Studies Minor. She is also in the planning team for the Leadership Educators Institute and the National Leadership Symposium.
