Career Specialties

Jennifer Keipper’s academic interests center on clinical simulation, nursing education, and pediatric primary care. With over a decade of experience in nursing and nearly as many in education, she is particularly passionate about using simulation to enhance clinical reasoning and student confidence in diverse healthcare settings.

Professional and Community Activities

Jennifer Keipper has more than ten years of experience as a registered nurse in diverse clinical areas, including emergency medicine, oncology, pediatrics, and perioperative care. Her dedication to education is reflected in her nine years of teaching experience, particularly in simulation-based learning and lab instruction. She integrates real-world clinical knowledge into her teaching, promoting evidence-based practice and critical thinking in future nurses.

Her Doctor of Nursing Practice project, "Implementation of a Primary Care Clinical Pathway to Detect and Treat Adolescents at Risk for Depression," earned her third-place recognition among DNP candidates. Jennifer is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing, which reflects her commitment to academic excellence and leadership in the profession.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Jennifer has volunteered at local health fairs through nursing programs and participated in school health screenings to support community wellness initiatives.
