Career Specialties

Carly Hilinski-Rosick's research interests include corrections and inmate behavior, victimology, particularly crimes against women, assessing the relationships between fear of crime and individual behaviors and attitudes and crime on the college campus.

Professional and Community Activities

Hilinski-Rosick is currently involved in research examining the predictors of misconduct among people who are incarcerated. Additionally, she is also examining compassion fatigue among student interns as well as among faculty members.

Her recent research has appeared in the Journal of Criminal Justice Education and Victims and Offenders.

She also serves a guardian ad litem (GAL) in Hillsborough County. Her role as a GAL allows her to advocate for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.
