Professional and Community Activities

In addition to teaching anatomy and physiology, DuPont's academic and research interests focus on vision science, particularly in the areas of vascular remodeling and retinal imaging. She has published over 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals and remain actively engaged in science outreach through programs like Skype a Scientist and Letters to a Pre-Scientist, where she connects with K-12 students to promote scientific curiosity and diversity in STEM. DuPont holds a teaching certificate that supports her commitment to effective, inclusive, and engaging instruction.
