Principles of Marketing
Mahmoud Darrat specializes in professional selling and sales management with a particular interest in the antecedents and consequences of salesperson creativity and deviance. He has served as a consultant for multinational companies on a variety of topics including retail design and atmospherics, salesperson recruitment and retention, and customer relationship management.
Professional and Community Activities:
His research interests span a variety of areas including sales management, branding, consumer behavior and advertising. His work has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. His work has been presented to both national and international audiences including the World Marketing Congress, Academy of Marketing Science, National Conference on Sales Management and the Society for Marketing Advances, among others.
