Career Specialties

Eric Ballard’s teaching interests lie mainly in organic chemistry. His research interests also lie in organic chemistry, specifically in the area of green catalytic reactions that may be useful in the synthesis of natural products, biologically active compounds and advanced materials.

Professional and Community Activities

Ballard is an active member of the American Chemical Society and the Council on Undergraduate Research.
