The University of Tampa has a long standing culture of excellence which extends to the award-winning Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program. Army ROTC was a big part of my UT experience and instilled in me the value of selfless service.
This year, I am happy to support Army ROTC by raising funds to enable cadets to participate in the annual Army 10-miler, allowing cadets to experience an Army esprit-de-corps tradition. It also provides an opportunity for them to connect with Army leaders and soldiers and get a feel for the culture. Providing this experience is both a reward and a reinforcement of the physical fitness required of our future officers.
