University of Tampa President Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg invites nominations and applications for the position of director of athletics.

Larry Marfise, who has successfully served the University of Tampa for over 26 years, as the director of athletics, recently announced he will step down from his position in November 2025. 

Executive search firm Collegiate Sports Associates will lead the national search. The director of athletics guides the overall direction of the athletics department, operating in concert with the values and mission of the University, aligning its priorities with those of the University, and fostering a culture of excellence.
