Does the University conduct background checks?
The University conditions employment on the satisfactory completion of the background check process, which will include a criminal background check and may also include motor vehicle and credit report screening based on position requirements.
How do I know my application was received?
Applicants will receive an immediate confirmation once the application has been submitted as well as an email confirmation.
What happens once my application is submitted?
Applications are reviewed by the hiring department/search committee. Applicants may be contacted for further information after review.
Am I able to make changes to my application once it’s been submitted?
Changes may not be made once your application has been submitted.
How long does it take before someone gets back to me about a job I applied for online?
We are not able to provide an exact time frame for when an applicant may be contacted. Your application will remain active until the position is filled.
How will I know if the position for which I applied has been filled?
All pending applicants are notified at the time a position is filled.
How long does the hiring process take?
It varies by position depending on how urgently a position is needed or other priorities the hiring department may have.
What happens if I do not attach all required documents at the time I apply?
Your application is considered incomplete without all required documents. Please ensure all required documents are submitted in the attachment box on the My Experience page at time of application, as changes may not be made once your application has been submitted.
Am I able to come in and fill out a paper application and/or provide copies of my resume?
We do not have a paper application nor accept resumes in lieu of an online application. Please review the open positions and apply online for consideration.
What if I receive an error message when trying to login to the Career site?
Workday no longer supports version 10 and earlier of Microsoft Internet Explorer. When you attempt to sign in to Workday or external sites using Internet Explorer 10 or earlier, an error message now displays. We recommend you upgrade to version 11 or use another supported browser such as Google Chrome.
