Since 2008, UT's military population has increased from 36 students to over 400, with military represented in all four UT colleges and nearly all degree programs. Each military student's unique experience adds to The University of Tampa’s model of diversity and inclusion in our rapidly evolving society and culture.

For consecutive years, UT has been deemed a Military Friendly® School. U.S. News and World Report included The University of Tampa in its list of "Best Colleges for Veterans" of Regional Universities South. These schools offer benefits that can make pursuing a college education more affordable for veterans and active-duty service members.
