Several student clubs provide a unique experience beyond the classes in the cybersecurity program. The Center for Cybersecurity works closely with the UT Cybersecurity Club, Women in Cybersecurity and Root@UT. Each club offers various experiential learning activities and opportunities for networking.

Cybersecurity Club
WiCyS was established in 2012 by Ambareen Siraj of Tennessee Tech University through a National Science Foundation grant. In less than 10 short years, the organization has grown into a leading alliance between trailblazers from academia, government and industry.
Women in CyberSecurity
Root@UT strives to create the next leaders of the cybersecurity field through technical training, exercises, presentations and competitions. With many veterans of the security world guiding us, the knowledge is available for those who choose to seek it.
