UTampa Online (UTO) was established in November 2019 to meet the learning and teaching needs of students and faculty for the online environment.
With this initiative, UTO continues to support experiential learning.
Our mission promotes the integration of evidence-based strategies for designing, developing, and teaching online courses. We partner with faculty to create high-quality, rigorous online courses.
The University of Tampa is committed to face-to-face education for undergraduates. During the summer, the University recognizes the need to provide alternatives for students who may be out of the area or have other commitments. UTO focuses on designing and developing online courses so graduate and undergraduate students have that option in the summer. Online graduate courses and programs are offered throughout the year.
