UT’s Rebecca White to Launch and Host Entrepreneurship Podcast, “En Factor”

University of Tampa Professor Rebecca White, director of the Sykes College of Business Lowth Entrepreneurship Center, will launch and host a podcast, En Factor, featuring conversations with local, national and international entrepreneurs “who have struggled, stumbled and succeeded.”

“The podcast will revolve around my interviewing exceptional people who have successfully applied an entrepreneurial mindset to their life and vocation,” said Rebecca White of her new podcast launching Nov. 1.

The podcast is set to launch on Friday, Nov. 1, in conjunction with the College Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) Global Conference and Pitch Competition, which is being held in Tampa this week. The launch will consist of five podcasts that include Kevin Harrington, one of the original sharks on Shark Tank; J.B. Bernstein, an entrepreneur whose story is the focus of the Disney Movie Million Dollar Arm; Frans Johansson, New York Times best-selling author of The Medici Effect and The Click Moment; and two local entrepreneurs, Desiree Noisette (Mermosa) and Jon Aragon (Native North). After the launch, new podcasts will be posted every two weeks.

“The podcast will revolve around my interviewing exceptional people who have successfully applied an entrepreneurial mindset to their life and vocation,” White said.

Other guests that will be featured in future episodes include Bonnie Harvey and Michael Houlihan, founders of Barefoot Wines; Benson Riseman, cofounder of Greendot Corp.; Nick Friedman, co-founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk, and many others.

The podcast is sponsored by the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center and by CEO, the largest student entrepreneur organization in the U.S. UT entrepreneurship students will also be involved in the podcast production.

En Factor will be published without commercials and will be available without a subscription fee starting on Nov. 1 on Apple Podcasts, iTunes, Spotify and other podcast platforms. The podcasts will also be available on the website enfactorpodcast.com.
