This hit musical comedy tells the story of a novice to blind dating as he meets a serial dater for drinks and dinner at a busy New York City restaurant; as the events of this meeting unfold, hilarity ensues.

The musical is directed by Karla Hartley, part-time theatre and dance faculty and artistic director of Stageworks Theatre Company in Tampa, with choreography by Paul Finocchiaro, associate professor of theatre, and musical direction by Tara Swartzbaugh, part-time music faculty. Dylan Glover ’23 will star as the character of Aaron and Ashley Campbell ’23 will star as the character of Casey.

“First Date is a comedic look at the perils of dating in modern times,” said Hartley. “Is he a bad boy or straight-laced? How will my family feel when I bring home a Shiksa instead of a nice Jewish girl? Find out March 24-27 at the Falk Theatre.”
