UT T-Shirt Exchange To Benefit Metropolitan Ministries

As part of orientation on Aug. 26, new University of Tampa students had the opportunity to exchange their old T-shirts from other universities and colleges for a new University of Tampa “Spartan Spirit” T-shirt.

Overall, students turned in 329 T -shirts from institutions ranging from Ohio State University, University of Florida, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Syracuse University and numerous others. Now, those T -shirts will be donated this week to Metropolitan Ministries.


More than 320 students participated in the exchange. 


The T -shirt exchange was sponsored by UT’s Office of Public Information and Publications.
