UT Graduate Finance Program Ranked in Top 50

The University of Tampa has been featured by Master’s Degree Online as one of the top 50 finance graduate programs in the U.S. for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Master’s Degree Online is a website that describes itself as a “one stop shop for anybody looking for extensive information regarding master’s programs of any kind.” The listing is at www.mastersdegreeonline.org/best-masters-in-finance/.

Other universities on the list include the University of California, Vanderbilt University, University of Florida and Boston College.

UT’s Sykes College of Business offers a Master of Science in finance degree, which is highlighted by Master’s Degree Online, that prepares students for careers in private industry and government in such areas as banking, brokerage, individual and institutional investments, insurance, financial analysis and planning, portfolio management and more.

UT also offers an MBA-Finance Concentration that prepares managers for successful interaction in four possible areas: corporate finance, investment/portfolio management, finance markets/banking and international finance. Topics in the finance courses assist students in preparation for the CFA exam.
