Executives from Feld Entertainment, IQor and Dover Corp. to Speak at UT’s Fellows Forum March 4

The leaders of Feld Entertainment Inc., iQor and Dover Corp. are slated to speak at The University of Tampa Fellows Forum on Wednesday, March 4, at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Ferguson Hall. A continental breakfast will be served at 7:15 a.m., and the program will run from 8–9:30.

Speakers include Kenneth Feld, chairman and CEO of Feld Entertainment Inc.; Hartmut Liebel, president and CEO of iQor; and Robert A. “Bob” Livingston, president and CEO of Dover Corp.

Feld has served as CEO of Feld Entertainment since 1984. Today, the company produces a wide variety of live family spectaculars, including three touring units of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, multiple tours of Disney On Ice and Disney Live!, Monster Jam, AMA Supercross and Nuclear Cowboyz.

Liebel is president and CEO of iQor, a global provider of intelligent customer interaction and outsourcing solutions. With 32,000 employees in 17 countries, iQor’s award-winning technology, logistics and analytics platforms enable users to measure, monitor and analyze brand interactions, improve business processes and find operational efficiencies that lead to superior outcomes.

Livingston is president and CEO of Dover Corp. Dover is a diversified global manufacturer with annual revenues of $8 billion, delivering innovative equipment and components, specialty systems and support services through four major operating segments: Energy, Engineered Systems, Fluids, and Refrigeration and Food Equipment.

The forum will be moderated by Stacie Schaible of WFLA News Channel 8.

Tickets are $40 and may be purchased by calling The University of Tampa at (813) 253-6220. Proceeds from the event go toward the Board of Fellows Endowed Scholarship, which supports students in the Sykes College of Business.

Since 1987, the Fellows Forum has been the annual flagship event for The University of Tampa Board of Fellows, bringing nationally recognized executives to Tampa to share their business experiences. Last year’s forum attracted more than 1,000 attendees. This year’s presenting sponsor is Verizon. University of Tampa film students will screen their work at the first annual Moon Dance Film Festival at UT’s Reeves Theater on Tuesday, April 14, at 8:30 p.m.

Aaron Walker, assistant professor of communication, said the festival is an opportunity for UT students both to screen their work and to curate the best work of their peers.

“It’s fully student-run, so it shows how deeply the students care about celebrating the strong work of their peers, but also shows how much desire there is for our FMA students to create venues of success for one another,” Walker said. “It’s a terrific collaboration, and will be a terrific party for film. Plus, the movies are great.”

The Sustainable Business Coalition of Tampa Bay Inc. and The University of Tampa Center for Ethics is calling for nominations for their annual Sustainable Business Awards, which will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at The University of Tampa’s Vaughn Center.

Now in its seventh year, the Sustainable Business Awards, sponsored by the Sustany Foundation, recognize and honor for-profit businesses in the Tampa Bay area that engage in practices that increase economic opportunities and improve the environment and community.
