A Social Media Story: Move-in 2015

It’s that time of year when students pack up their belongings, say goodbye to family and friends, and (for some) travel across the country (or world!) to start their journey as The University of Tampa’s newest Spartans.

More than 1,850 students make up the freshman class of 2019, and this past week they moved into their residence halls, some surprised by the changes at the newly renovated McKay Hall. Student athletes participated in pre-season practices, 137 student leaders attended the ELITE retreat, 23 first generation scholars attended Camp Spartan and by Aug. 28, all were immersed in orientation fun.
