2024 Leadership Summit To Be Held at UT on Feb. 13

The TECO Energy Center for Leadership, part of The University of Tampa Sykes College of Business, will host social psychologist Tom Kolditz for its 2024 Leadership Summit on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The event will be held in Fletcher Lounge in Plant Hall.

The summit, featuring Kolditz as the keynote speaker, is titled “Leadership Reckoning: Making a Difference.” Kolditz uses psychology to develop leaders and is the managing member of Saxon Castle LLC, a coaching and leader development consultancy. He founded the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University (TX) in 2015 and directed it for seven years and recently published his book Leadership Reckoning: Can Higher Education Develop the Leaders We Need?

The summit also will include a panel discussion with Mark House, managing director and director of strategic projects at The Beck Group; John Graydon Smith, president and CEO of the Museum of Science and Industry; and Laura Webb, president of Webb Insurance Group.

Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. for breakfast, and the event will start at 8 a.m. with a presentation by Kolditz. It will continue with a leadership panel discussion at 9 a.m. From 10:45 a.m. until noon, there will be a roundtable with hot topic discussions, followed by lunch.

General admission is $99, and sponsorship of a table of six is $500. The event is free to registered UT students, faculty and staff. As seating is limited, reservations are required at ut.edu/cfl/leadershipsummit/.
