Liz Callaway, the original Lizzie in “Baby” and the singing voice of Anastasia from the animated film Anastasia, will be at the show on Nov. 22 to do a talkback (an informal discussion) with the audience about creating the iconic role.
“Baby” is a tribute to motherhood, fatherhood and new life. The musical focuses on three couples and their journey to parenthood: Danny and Lizzie, college students; Nick and Pam, a couple in their 30s; and Alan and Arlene, a couple in their 40s. “Baby” features a score by David Shire and Richard Maltby. The student musical is directed by Paul Finocchiaro, UT professor of theatre.
Regular admission for the general public is $15. Senior citizens and non-UT students with ID are $10. The show is free for UT students, faculty and staff.
