UT Professor Featured in New TV Series for Entrepreneurs

Dean Koutroumanis, associate director of The University of Tampa Entrepreneurship Center, will appear in an episode of a new television series on the Tampa Bay Community Network called “Creating Your Own Job.” The episode will air Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 8 p.m. on Verizon 30, Bright House Network 950, Comcast 20 and www.watchus.tbcn.org and re-air on Friday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m. on Verizon 36 and Bright House Network 949.

The series provides information and resources on starting a business, creating business plans, securing funding, marketing, using social media, legal and licensing issues, and other topics. Viewers are provided with a listing of resources at the end of each program.

Koutroumanis is featured in the “Entrepreneurial Education” segment along with Michael Fountain, director of the USF Center for Entrepreneurship and executive director of Tampa Bay Research and Innovation Center at The Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation; Amy Sauers, associate professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at St. Petersburg College; and Jessica Vega, communications and marketing DRT at Hillsborough Technical Education Centers (HiTEC).
