Public Invited to Attend Friday at Noon Concerts at UT

This spring, The University of Tampa will once again present monthly Friday concerts at the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values. Concerts are scheduled for Feb. 14, March 7, April 11 and May 2 beginning at noon.The concerts, which are free and open to the public, typically run about 30 minutes. Dubbed “informances,” the recitals will feature UT music faculty and students, as well as guest artists, demonstrating the Blüthner grand piano and the 3,184-pipe Dobson organ.The series will kick off Friday, Feb. 14, with a performance by the University’s organist, Ryan Hebert. Other performers include:

  • March 7 — Simon Morley, organist and choirmaster at St. John’s Episcopal Church
  • April 11 — UT music students
  • May 2 — Ryan Hebert, University organist
Parking is available on the first level of the Thomas Parking Garage.
