A University of Tampa biology professor will be featured Tuesday night
on an episode of the History Channel’s “Evolve” series at 10 p.m.
Dan
Huber, visiting assistant professor of biology, will be featured in an
episode titled “Jaws,” which takes a look at the physical adaptations of
the jaws of sharks and other predators.
Huber’s research
interests have focused heavily on sharks’ “bite force,” – their hunting
performance – offering new insights into the animal’s evolutionary
habits and capabilities.
The episode will include an interview with Huber as well as highlights of his research.
