Nursing Professor to Discuss Effectiveness of Simulation in Health Curriculum on Oct. 6

Nazik Zakari, an associate professor in the nursing administration and education department in the College of Nursing at King Saud University (Saudi Arabia), will give a presentation at The University of Tampa on the effectiveness of incorporating simulation in health curricula.

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the Brevard Hall Community Room on campus. The public is invited, and the presentation is free.
The title of the presentation is “Understanding the complex process of adopting and incorporating simulation into the health curricula.” Zakari’s research focuses on the differences among national and international effectiveness of nurses' leadership capabilities to advance simulation education and lead change for improving student competency. She has collected data about best practices and their effectiveness from nursing programs at four universities: King Saud University, UT, Ottawa University (Canada) and Monash University (Australia).
