In a
Business Insider online ranking of U.S. business schools that offer the best education for the price, The University of Tampa Sykes College of Business has been ranked No. 7.
The ranking set the
Sykes College of Business immediately above the business school at the University of Notre Dame and below the University of California-Berkely’s business school. UT was also ranked higher than the business schools at Harvard University, Duke University and Ohio State University.
The ranking was based on a GraduatePrograms.com survey of more than 10,000 current and former business school students. The students were asked about their programs “to find places where students felt they earned the best education for the price — schools where students were satisfied with their program, and would choose it again.”
The authors of the article said that “… if you're going to fork over thousands of dollars for business school, it better be worth your time
and money.”
Students ranked their schools in several categories — including value, financial aid and quality of education — on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being a perfect score. The scores for each school were averaged together by category, then ranked accordingly.
According to the survey, the Sykes College of Business’s score was 9.65. The business school at Georgia Institute of Technology, which was ranked No. 1, scored 9.88.
