Arturo Uzcategui ’10 will leave UT in May with a bachelor’s in communication and head to Washington, D.C. to work for SIRIUS | XM Satellite Radio. As a board operator/producer, Uzcategui will help broadcast athletic events on sports channels like NFL, NBA and MLB in both English and Spanish. Uzcategui credits his undergraduate freelance opportunities with ESPN Radio, landed through connections by UT Adjunct Instructor Karl Hill, for the added edge in getting the job with SIRIUS.
