Enjoy an Evening of Chamber Music at UT Nov. 9

Stop by The University of Tampa Friday, Nov. 9, for an evening of chamber music. Four ensembles of students in the University’s music program will perform a variety of chamber music beginning at 6 p.m. in the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values.

The concert will open with the UT flute ensemble, featuring junior Monroe Lewis, sophomore Allison Shidel and junior Danielle Sopchak. Performing selections from trio sonatas are The Bella Corda Piano Trio, with junior violinist Justin Justice, junior violist Joshua Ratliff and senior pianist Elisabet Fandino, and the UT woodwind trio, featuring senior oboist William Anderson, junior flutist Monroe Lewis and junior pianist Rachel Knapp. The UT student chamber orchestra will close the concert.

Musical selections for the evening include works by James Hook, Ignaz Lachner, Georg Philipp Telemann, Elliot Del Borgo, John Rutter and Peter Warlock.

All student ensembles performing are coached and directed by UT music faculty.
