Admission for The University of Tampa Executive Doctor of Business Administration (EDBA) is highly selective and students are encouraged to apply early. Applicants are considered for entry into an EDBA cohort during the fall semester. To apply, use either the online application or the paper application (PDF). An admission decision cannot be made until the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies receives all required materials. Students are notified of an admission decision after materials have been received and evaluated.

Admission Requirements and Documents
- Completion of EDBA Application
- Payment of Graduate Admission Application Fee
- Master’s Degree Required
- Preferably in a business discipline or quantitative field
- At the discretion of the Business Review Committee relevant business experience may substituted for a master’s degree in business or quantitative field
- Personal interview or communication with program director
- Comprehensive essay articulating research or business issues(s) the candidate would like to address while earning the EDBA
- Submission of official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Minimum cumulative graduate degree GPA of 3.0
- 10 years of relevant full-time professional experience
- GMAT/GRE: Optional
- Applicants who do not completely satisfy the admission requirements can be considered for admission if they provide a compelling case in the application.
Application Deadlines
Rolling admissions, with cohorts starting yearly in the fall. Qualified students are admitted until spaces are full for the relevant term. Due to this, admission is competitive, and students are encouraged to apply early. Students are notified of their status once all documents have been received.
