Meet Eric Horth

Coordinator of Competitive Sports, Campus Recreation

Education: 2013 North Carolina State University, B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing
2016 East Carolina University, M.S. in Sport Management/MBA

Career Specialties: Eric Horth began his career in campus recreation during his undergraduate years working in facility operations and event management at North Carolina State University. Following his passion, he continued to work in the field by serving as the general administrator of club sports at East Carolina University and upon graduation, accepted his first full-time job as the coordinator of competitive sports at Appalachian State University. Chasing the beautiful Tampa weather, he now serves as the coordinator of competitive sports at UT, overseeing club sports and assisting with intramural sports special events/tournaments.

Professional and Community Activities: Horth has been an active member of the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) since 2014. He currently maintains his American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer certification.
