Jonathan Gilbert specializes in marketing strategy as a means of enhancing consumer and human well-being, industrial consumerism in global markets, customer experience analytics, and multimedia storytelling and content marketing.
Gilbert is a marketing scholar, award-winning educator and social justice advocate. He has published peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Public Policy, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Selling and other high-quality outlets. Prior to academia, he worked as a marketing executive, general manager and turnaround specialist in the telecommunications, media and entertainment industries.
